suite à la mise à jour d' aujourd'hui sur un système openbox 3.7.10-1-MANJARO ( i686 ), j'ai un soucis avec docky.
Une fois la mise a jours des programmes terminés, j'ai voulu redémarrer , il y a eu comme un gel du système Pour un système véloce d'habitude, on dirait qu'il y avait un gros lag d'escargot dans le pc.
Bref obligé de reset , de retour plus de docky sur le bureau.
je lance l'application en cliquant sur son icône mais rien ne se passe. je supprime le docky ( community ) et remplace par docky-bzr ( AUR ). itoujours le même problème

toujours pareil, rien à changé. Dans mon dossier docky il n'y a que le répertoire "plugins" après une installation en partant de zéro

J' ai bien pensé à le virer avant de le réinstaller ,mais ça nous aurait privé de cette litterature.

j'ai fait la mise à jour d'openbox dans virtualbox et le docky est toujours là ( pas de bug système à la fin des mises à jour ) je vais tester planck, sinon en dernier recours cairo-dock.
PS : après la MAJ sur manjaro stable on reste toujours sur la 3.7.10-1 sur i686 et sur x86_64 on passe à la 3.8.5-1

Les noyaux ne progressent que dans leur branche, et la 3.7 est en EOL, donc il n'y en aura pas de nouveau.
Je te conseille de le faire. Par exemple, pour passer en 3.8, il te suffit de faire :
sudo mhwd-kernel linux38
puis de redémarrer le PC, et de choisir la nouvelle branche dans le Grub.

je pense que c'est le bug lors de ma mise à jour qui cassé le docky en regardant sur le site officiel j'ai vu qu'il était déconseillé d'utiliser yaourt pour cette mise à jour... trop tard
Dans virtualbox j'avais déja une session manjaro-lite, j'en rajoutte une deuxième pour un autre test avec installation de docky puis la grosse mise à jour dans la première session la mise à jour m'avait conservé le docky en utilisant pacman dans la seconde session la mise à jour m'a aussi conservé le docky en utilisant yaourt
le docky est toujours là dans les deux cas
Pour le remplacer j'avais le choix de plank et cairo-dock
plank => comment ouvrir 2 fois un programme ? ( pour le copier coller dans divers répertoires cela ne me convient pas ) cairo-dock => pour ouvrir + de 2 fois un programme il faut utiliser la touche MAJ ( avec opengl ou sans à votre guise, mettre aussi les plugins ), si vous aimez le bling bling
comme j'étais sur ma faim j' ai installé avant window navigator pour voir
avant windows navigator => proche du docky pour la simplicitié d'utilisation, facilité de lancer + de 2 fois un programme et si c'est > 3 vous avez une aide visuelle ( par exemple si vous ouvrez 5 fois le terminal, vous aurez le chiffre 5 sur l'icône du terminal )
Je garde avant windows navigator, dans l'attente de la prochaine grosse mise à jour pour voir
