Sur ma machine Asus X73S, 2010, j'ai deux cartes graphiques, une Intel et une Nvidia (méthode Optimus, "nid à chagrin")
A quelque chose malheur est bon, comme la famille Ubuntu ne supportait pas cet environnement (radiateur qui s'emballait depuis Ubuntu je ne sais plus combien), c'est là que j'ai choisi Manjaro !
Je viens de désactiver la carte Nvidia sous Windows 10. Ça marche très bien.
Est-ce que je peux en faire autant sous Linux (Manjaro KDE). Je ne sais pas du tout le faire

Je n'en sais rigoureusement rien. J'essaierai de regarder cela demain.
Le but serait d'éviter des plantages d'origine indéterminée.
Je fais la même tentative ou essai en Windows (très facile à désactiver). Je l'ai fait avec le gestionnaire de périphériques. Je voulais le faire aussi en Linux mais je ne sais pas le faire

Et, comme dit précédemment, le but est d'éviter des plantages qui seraient éventuellement dus à cette carte.

D'après ce que je lis sur le site d'Asus, l'option pour désactiver la carte externe n'est pas très explicite :
Use the arrow keys to choose 'Advanced' menu > System Agent (SA) Configuration\Graphics Configuration > iGPU Multi-Monitor setting > Enable as below. Press the 'F10' key to save and exit.
Note: If there are still problems to get the onboard graphics connections working in Windows , also try changing the 'Primary Display' setting in the bios screenshot below to 'CPU Graphics', but just a reminder that your graphics performance will be affected and you would want to avoid this.
Il faut valider "iGPU Multi-Monitor" dans les paramètres avancés, et si ça ne suffit pas, passer "Primary Display" en "CPU Graphics".
