APN Canon Ixus 700 non ou mal supporté par noyau 4.14

Chalut !

J'ai l'habitude de transférer les photos numériques de mon Canon Ixus 700 vers l'ordinateur
avec Shotwell (dans sa version 0.26.3 à ce jour).
Pré-réglages : Paramètres > Disques amovibles et médias > Appareils photos
✘ Importer les photos numériques à la connexion

Avec les noyaux 4.4.101-1-MANJARO et 4.9.65-1-MANJARO tout est OK
− Shotwell est lancé après la connexion de l'APN,
− l'APN est visible et les photos sont importables.

Avec le noyau 4.14.2-1-MANJARO : #### ECHEC ! ####
− Shotwell n'est pas lancé après la connexion de l'APN
− si je lance shotwell manuellement, il ne voit pas l'APN.

A part virer le 4.14, une autre solution ?

tu as essayé avec un noyau 4.9 (noyau lts precedent le 4.14) ?

ca permettrait de rester avec un noyau stable plus recent que le 4.4 ...

Bonjour
Inutile de virer le 4.14, il te suffit de booter sur le 4.9 ou 4.4 en attendant que le 4.14 évolue . Tu retenteras à la prochaine mise à jour du kernel.

'LLo,

A part stopper/désactiver upower.service (juste pour voir) avec le 4.14 qui semble être voisin de la régression ou attendre une maj de ce noyau sans le virer qui résolve le problème & rester sur le 4.9 !

C'est vrai. Faut juste penser après chaque MAJ du menu de GRUB que celui-ci ne conserve pas ma préférence mais remet le choix par défaut qui est celui du noyau le plus récent.

Après avoir entré ces commandes...

... puis reconnecté l'APN : même punition !

Je vais donc éviter le 4.14 (sans l'ôter) et rester sur le 4.4 qui lui ne me "raye pas les yeux" au démarrage.

Dois-je tout de même mettre le sujet en résolu ? ... ou pas ?

Non puisque ce n'est pas vraiment résolu, mais tu peux préciser [En cours..]
On verra lors des prochaines mises à jour du kernel.

:bjr: Non le sujet n'est pas résolu, pour l'instant en tous cas. Tu as raison de le virer et de rester sur un kernel complètement fonctionnel. Tu pourra le réinstaller ultérieurement pour tester. Il y a aussi la possibilité de passer sur autre branche où ça bouge un peu plus, niveau mises à jour des noyaux, à toi de voir :wink:
